    Camp Cayuga is a nonsectarian residential camp located in the Pocono Mountains of northeast Pennsylvania.  We've been specializing in first-time campers since 1964 and offer a first-time camper guarantee!  Special emphasis is placed on hiring mature staff who have demonstrated the skills in providing the guidance necessary to ensure a happy and positive experience for our campers. 

     

    Cayuga's natural landscape creates 2 different campuses, each of which specifically caters to different age groups.  Campers ages 5 to 12 (entering 7th or 8th grade) reside on Junior Campus which accommodates approximately 120 boys and 120 girls.  Teenagers ages 13 to 15 reside on Teen Campus which accommodates approximately 75 boys and 75 girls.  Each campus offers a different type of activity program which caters to the needs and desires of these two different age groups.

     

    Cayuga features some of the most comprehensive facilities available in camping today: Over 350 scenic acres, 2 swimming pools, a private natural stream-fed lake (13 acres), large gymnasium, teen rec center, modern cabins (with toilets, showers, and sinks), equestrian center (25 horses, 2 instructional riding rings, jumps, 5 miles of scenic trails), tennis center (10 courts), separate dining halls for each campus, teen art building, creative arts pavilion, roller hockey rink, skatepark (halfpipe, pyramid grind rails), new video game room, weight training/exercise room, aerobics studio, 2 radio broadcasting stations, dance studio, martial arts room, ropes course, photography darkroom, and program sites for over 60 activities.

     

    Camp Cayuga's daily program offers instruction in over 60 activities including: paintball, scuba diving, extreme sport jumping, horseback riding (no extra charge), all land and water sports, flying trapeze, circus acts, honda ATV 4-wheelers, performing arts program, creative arts program (pottery, ceramics, wood projects, etc.), wilderness/adventure program (backpacking trips, cookouts, overnights, nature hikes, etc.), ropes course (32 foot climbing wall, rappelling, 205 foot zip line, etc.), USTA tennis program, gymnastics, riflery, soccer, rollerblading, roller hockey, skateboarding, aerobics, archery, dance/ballet, model rocketry, mountain biking, martial arts (karate, judo), lacrosse, wrestling, camp newspaper, golf, gaga, photography (camera use, developing negatives, printing photos), video camera filming, radio DJ broadcasting, volleyball, baseball, softball, dodgeball, circus clinics, horse shows, horseback overnights, swim meets, intercamp tournaments, exciting evening activities, great special events!   Fun trips include: Dorney Amusement Park and the Wild Water Kingdom, Hershey Amusement Park and the Chocolate Factory, Yankees AAA Baseball Games, Indoor Semi-Pro Arena Football, Delaware River canoe trips, Appalachian Trail backpacking trips, and many more.  Extended 3-day optional trips include: Busch Gardens and Luray Caverns, Virginia; and Canada/Niagara Falls and Canada's Wonderland. 

     

    Cayuga’s staff is made up of College students, graduates, teachers and coaches from around the world with a camper to staff ratio of 4:1. This mature staff help make supervision an integral part of the daily operation.  ACA accredited.  Tuition discounts available.  Sibling discounts are available for families with more than one camper.

    Camp Season: 2005-06-14 to 2005-08-08
    Sessions:

    There are 2, 4, 6 and 8 week sessions.

    Camp begins on June 28th, 2009 and ends on August 20th, 2009.

    The cost is $1625 - $7200. Discounts available for early sign ups. Sibling discounts are also available.
