Description:
Countryside Camp & Conference Centre through it's "Camp Shalom" summer ministry aims to teach and mentor young people to become the leaders of tomorrow. The programs are designed to help participants form Christian value-based foundations through formal instruction and hands-on experience. Young people are grounded in godly traits such as faith, self-discipline, responsibility, friendship, work, truth, courage, honesty, loyalty, perseverance and compassion. "Camp Shalom" staff and counselors are selected for both their spiritual testimony and demonstrated life experience; they serve as mentors in faith training and character development.
