Description:
At Ramaquois, Arthur and Natalie Kessler have created a unique day camp experience, where children enjoy all the excitement and diversity of a fine sleep-away camp. The Kesslers encourage campers at every age level to explore their abilities, share their talents and become part of a community that is alive with spirit, friendship and personal accomplishment.
From pre-schoolers to teenagers, campers participate in sports, aquatics, arts and crafts, nature and performing arts. Beach volleyball, summer sledding, cooking, special events, a petting zoo and an extensive woodworking program round out the Ramaquois program.
Situated on 40 acres surrounding a tranquil private lake in Rockland County, New York, Ramaquois is renowned for its idyllic country setting, state-of-the-art facilities and skilled professional staff. In addition to numerous athletic fields and courts, the facilities include seven heated swimming pools, newly air-conditioned dining hall, a gymnastics center and a new dining pavilion.
